Crane Prairie Reservoir

We are now at Crane Prairie. Another beautiful Oregon lake with views of Mt. Bachelor and the South Sister.

There are a number of campgrounds around the lake, we chose the Crane Prairie campground. Dozens of sites have lake views.

A good variety of birds and other wildlife.  These 3 bucks spent quite a bit of time near our campsite.

Amy was sitting at the picnic table when a hawk swooped down and grabbed a nearby chipmunk. We felt bad for the chipmunk but it is always thrilling to see nature in action!
