Howard's Gulch-Canby-CA

I spent one night at Howard's Gulch campground. I will certainly stay there again in the future. A nice quiet secluded USFS campground just off Hwy 139. It was only $6 a night with my senior discount. It has pit toilets and potable water spigots. It is designed around a small hill that blocks most of the highway noise depending on which site you choose. There is a nice hiking trail that leads up a hill to scenic views from the top of several rocky cliffs. If I had known I would be creating a blog, I would have capture some pics! I did however take pics of some of the birds I saw. There was a flock of turkeys that frequently wandered thru the campgrounds.
